Ms. Joan Kadamu became the first student to defend her MA Thesis online at IAGAS
The Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies conducted orientation of first year students on 4th September 2020.
The students were addressed by the Director and other members of staff.
The activity was done using online platforms.

IAGAS CONDUCTS ONLINE EXAMINATIONS
The Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies has started administering end of semester examinations.
The examinations commenced on 23rd June 2020 and will end on 9th July 2020.
These are the first ever end of semester examinations to be conducted online.
Prof. Salome Bukachi did an interview with Talking Africa, a radio station in London about the response to the Covid-19 pandemic in Africa by Africa's Centre for Disease Control, and about the human - African - response to the pandemic.
