The Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African studies had a curriculum review retreat from 28/9/2017

to 30/9/2017 in Garden Hotel, Machakos.

The retreat was attended by staff of the Institute as well as other stakeholders invited by the Institute to take part

in the exercise.

Dr Wilfred Subbo was promoted to the post of associate proffesor at the Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies with effect from 5th August, 2016.  He Holds a PhD degree in Development Anthropology. We at the Institute congratulate him and wish him more success in his career.

The Director, IAGAS, Dr. Owuor Olungah attended  the College of Humanities and Social Sciences Huduma Centre launch on 11th January 2016.

Speaking during the event, Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration and Finance, Prof.  Isaac Mbeche representing the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Peter Mbithi said the Huduma Centre was a noble idea which added a lot of value to the University of Nairobi.
