The Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies participated in the Ceremony marking the Installation of Professor P.M.F. Mbithi as the 7th Vice Chancellor of the University of Nairobi on 14th January 2014 at the Main Campus. The Institute was represented in the academic procession by the Director, Dr. Charles Owuor-Olungah and Professor Onyango-Ouma.

        Prof Onyango-Ouma

Dr Onyango-Ouma was promoted to the post of associate proffesor at the Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies with effect from 21st, December 2014.  He Holds  a PhD degree in medical anthropology. We at the Institute congratulate him  and wish him more success in his career.
