IAGAS Represented at the Launch of RRI Sensitzation on the Role of UON in the Implementation of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010

The Staff, Anthropology Students representatives and Alumni of Institute of Anthropology, Gender and African Studies attended the Launch of College of Humanities and Social Sciences  Rapid Results Inintiative on the role of the University of Nairobi in the implementation of the constitution of Kenya, 2010 held on 22nd august, 2013 at the main Campus 8.4.4  Building.  The guest speaker was prof Agnes Wang'ombe who is also the principle of College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, represented the chairman of the commision for the Implementation of the constitution. Among the Highligts of the launch was presentations on: public Service and leadership, Land and Environment, stucture of Government, Citizenship and women and the constitution. Prof Enos Njeru Principal College of Humanities and social Sciences read opening remarks on behalf of   the University of Nairobi Vice-Chancellor. Also Present at the launch were Prof Patricia Kameri Mbote, Dean Faculty of Law, Prof Maria Nzomo, Director Institute of Diplomacy and Intenational Stuides, Prof Wanjiku Kabira, Chairperson African Women Study Centre and Dr Adams Oloo, Chairman Department of political Science and Fr. Dr D. Wamugunda Senior lecturer in sociology and Dean of Students University of Nairobi.
